2024 Forum Update
“We're proud to bring you this update report and show how our steadfast commitment to building a "center" of support for immigration reforms and creating a pro-immigrant culture has positioned us to meet this critical year.”

Vision for the Future
The National Immigration Forum’s vision for the future is a 21st century immigration system that helps new Americans gain the opportunities, skills and status they need to realize their full potential.
To achieve this vision, we bring together moderate  and conservative faith, law enforcement and business leaders to weigh in with media and policy makers in support of practical and commonsense immigration, citizenship and integration policies.
Together with ANIC partners, a powerful group of 39 diverse leaders and organizations, the Forum leverages shared power to have collective impact on Capitol Hill and opinion leaders across the nation.

Policy spotlight: Afghan Adjustment Act
The Forum convenes the Afghan Adjustment Act Advocacy Group and organized over 70 meetings on Capitol Hill with national security, faith and business leaders to reintroduce and pass the Afghan Adjustment Act. This tireless advocacy led to the reintroduction of the  bill was introduced in both chambers with bipartisan cosponsors in July 2023. The bill continues garnering support and was included in the Senate’s bipartisan border legislation led by Senators Sinema, Murphy and Lankford in early 2024.

Leadership and Policy Influence
The Forum, along with 6 other ANIC partners, developed a border security framework with policy recommendations to create a more secure, efficient, and humane border process. It is a serious, solutions-focused approach to the border, designed to respond to elevated numbers of migrant encounters and security challenges. It proposes a process that is secure, efficient and humane — as well as pragmatic.
